PETALING JAYA: As food security, supply chain resilience and commercial innovation become increasingly critical to the future of the global food and beverage industry, Malaysia is bringing together a premier gathering of F&B industry players at the Malaysian International Food & Beverage Trade Fair 2026 (MIFB 2026) from July 15 to 17 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.
Celebrating its 25th edition, MIFB will serve as a premier commercial platform for F&B market leaders to exchange ideas, forge corporate partnerships and explore the private-sector innovations shaping the next chapter of Southeast Asia’s food ecosystem.
Agriculture and Food Security Deputy Minister Datuk Chan Foong Hin is schedule to a keynote address, sharing insights on navigating global supply chain challenges and the industry’s role in future-readiness.
Returning under the theme “Future-Ready F&B: Powering the Next Wave”, MIFB 2026 comes at a pivotal time as businesses independently respond to shifting consumer preferences, evolving sustainability expectations and increasingly complex supply chains.
Over the past quarter-century, the event has evolved from a traditional trade exhibition into a business-first platform that connects industry stakeholders and accelerates cross-border partnerships to support market expansion across Southeast Asia.
In line with the exhibition’s overarching theme, this year’s MIFB Knowledge Hub will equip F&B businesses at every stage, from startups to scaling exporters, with practical strategies to build resilience and drive growth.
MIFB 2026 will also welcome international pavilions from China, India, Poland, South Korea, Turkiye, Thailand and many others, providing buyers and trade visitors with direct access to global partners, emerging food innovations and new sourcing opportunities. Their participation reflects Malaysia’s growing role as a regional gateway for food trade, investment and industry collaboration.
“Businesses today are looking for more than products-they are looking for ideas, partnerships and solutions that can help them navigate an increasingly complex market,” shared One International Group founder and CEO, Roger Lim, adding that from innovative food products and emerging technologies to international suppliers and expert-led industry discussions, MIFB is where meaningful conversations become commercial opportunities.
By bringing together every part of the food ecosystem, Lim said they aim to help businesses build stronger partnerships, unlock new market opportunities and prepare the industry for what’s next.
