A viral TikTok video shared by Zainal Affandi has sparked outrage after showing an extremely damaged road in Gua Musang, likened by viewers to scenes from a Marvel movie after a city-wide battle.
Despite its horrific condition, motorists are still using the route daily. In the comments section, locals claimed that the road has been left unrepaired for the past three years, leaving many in disbelief.
Some viewers even questioned whether the clip was generated by artificial intelligence (AI) due to the extent of the damage.
According to netizens, the affected stretch — Jalan Aring 8–Tasik Kenyir — deteriorated following a road collapse, yet no major repairs have been carried out since.
The comments section was filled with frustration as many questioned the state of infrastructure in Kelantan.
“I don’t know how the locals there can tolerate this kind of poor infrastructure,” commented a user named Zeel.
Many urged the Public Works Department to take immediate action, pointing out that road users pay road tax yet are forced to travel on unsafe routes.
Others warned motorists with lowered or modified vehicles to avoid the road to prevent further damage.
