A young boy has earned praise online after he was spotted directing traffic at a busy junction in Puchong’s Taman Tasik Prima following a traffic light malfunction on the night of Jan 22.
The incident, which occurred at around 9pm, saw the boy wearing a reflective vest as he stood in the middle of the junction, using hand signals to guide vehicles from different directions.
In the video, he could be seen calmly helping cars take turns to move, ensuring traffic continued to flow smoothly.
As of now, it remains unclear how long the traffic light was out of order or whether authorities were alerted at the time.
