Edvin Ying and Ryan Fernandez share the lead at five under par (-5) after two rounds of the PGM Palm Resort Closed Championship 2025. Edvin posted scores of 69 and 70, while Ryan carded 71 and 68, with both players making five birdies in round two.
Overnight leader Marcus slipped but remains in contention, tied at four under (-4) with Shariffuddin, just one shot behind. Gavin Green sits at two under (-2) alongside Irfan Syahmi, Nicholas Fung and Syahiran Syakir.
In the Ladies Championship, Winnie Ng maintained her strong form with a 70 to lead at six under (-6), two strokes ahead of Liyana Durisic (-4). Aretha Pan follows at one under (-1).
A total of 55 players made the cut and will compete in Thursday’s final round, teeing off from 7.30am. The event, held at Palm Resort Golf & Country Club’s Allamanda Course, offers RM180,000 in total prize money and RM30,000 for the Ladies Championship.
