“This reflects Malaysia’s continued commitment to strengthening regional and international cooperation,” Anwar said in a Facebook post.

During the meeting, both leaders agreed to enhance trade and investment cooperation to match the close fraternal and strategic relations between the two nations.

Anwar stated such cooperation could involve more frequent exchange visits and closer communication between top leadership to implement shared agendas more effectively.

He also congratulated Ambassador Raden Mohammad Iman on the commencement of his duties in strengthening the long-standing Malaysia-Indonesia relationship.
