In a statement today, the Foreign Ministry, also known as Wisma Putra, said Mohamad will lead the Malaysian delegation to the 59th AMM here until Thursday, where the ongoing crisis in West Asia is expected to take centre stage.

Wisma Putra said Mohamad will take part in an extended informal consultation on the implementation of the Five-Point Consensus (5PC) on Myanmar, where the ASEAN foreign ministers are expected to follow up on the recommendations of the last ASEAN Leaders’ Review and Decision on the 5PC regarding the conflicts and humanitarian situation in the country.
