The Muslim Economic Development Agenda Convention (APEM) serves as a platform to align cooperation among agencies, industry players and entrepreneurs.
“Many entrepreneurs aspire to expand their businesses but lack the necessary infrastructure,” Haja Najmudeen told reporters after officiating the event.
He emphasised that support from agencies with the right capacity and facilities is essential for business growth.
The involvement of various agencies at the convention would open opportunities for integrated cooperation.
Invited agencies included the Northern Corridor Economic Region (NCER), TEKUN Nasional and Perbadanan Nasional Berhad (PERNAS).
Resolutions from the convention will be submitted to Penang Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow.
The proposals aim to strengthen collaborative economic development efforts for the community. – Bernama
