A 15-year-old girl is in intensive care after falling from the 10th floor of a Gelugor condominium, with police ruling out criminal elements so far.
GEORGE TOWN: A 15-year-old girl sustained serious injuries after falling from a condominium in Gelugor.
The teenager fell from a bedroom on the 10th floor and was discovered on the seventh floor of the building.
Northeast District deputy police chief Supt Lee Swee Sake said police received information about the incident at 1.15 pm yesterday.
The victim is currently being treated in the Intensive Care Unit at Penang Hospital.
“So far, police have not found any criminal elements related to the incident,” Lee said in a statement.
He added that further investigations are ongoing, including recording the victim’s statement after she regains consciousness.
