MetMalaysia warns of thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds across KL, Putrajaya and eight states until 3 pm today
KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a warning of thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds in Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, and eight other states until 3 pm today.
MetMalaysia, in a statement, announced that the states affected are Kedah involving Yan, Pendang, Kuala Muda, Sik, Baling, Kulim and Bandar Baharu; as well as Perak involving Kerian and Larut, Matang and Selama.
The same weather conditions are expected to hit the entire Penang, Selangor (Kuala Selangor, Klang, Gombak, Petaling, Kuala Langat, Hulu Langat and Sepang) and Pahang (Rompin), Negeri Sembilan (Seremban, Port Dickson, Rembau and Tampin), Melaka and Johor (Tangkak, Segamat, Muar, Batu Pahat and Kluang).
