The Ghana forward, who joined from Bournemouth for £65 million on Friday, netted in the second half at the Etihad Stadium.

Teenage defender Max Alleyne opened the scoring with his first City goal in the 12th minute.
Rodri lashed in from distance in the 24th minute after a Semenyo shot was blocked.
Own goals from Exeter’s Jake Doyle-Hayes and Jack Fitzwater before half-time put the result beyond doubt.
Rico Lewis volleyed in from a Semenyo cross four minutes after the restart.
Semenyo then marked his debut with a clinical finish just five minutes later.
Tijjani Reijnders curled in a seventh from the edge of the area in the 71st minute.
Nico O’Reilly added an eighth with a fine header from a Lewis cross.
Seventeen-year-old Ryan McAidoo hit the ninth from outside the area in the 86th minute.

Lewis lashed home in stoppage-time to complete the 10-1 rout.
It was City’s biggest win since beating Huddersfield by the same scoreline in 1987.

The victory ended a run of three successive Premier League draws for City.
