Terengganu FC’s Nurillo to leave after final match, return to Uzbekistan

Terengganu FC midfielder Nurillo Tukhtasinov will not renew his contract and will play his last game for the club on December 23

TERENGGANU FC will bid farewell to midfielder Nurillo Tukhtasinov (pic) as he departs the squad.

TFC Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Sheikh Faraouk Sheikh Mohamed Al-Bajrai said the 28-year-old has decided not to renew his contract, which expires on December 31.

Nurillo’s final game for TFC will be the Malaysian Super League match against Sabah FC at the Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin Stadium on December 23.

This match concludes his nearly three-season tenure with the east coast team.

“Nurillo is reported to be returning to Uzbekistan to play for a club there,” said Sheikh Faraouk.

TFC plans to hold a special appreciation session for him during his final match.

Supporters are encouraged to attend and give their final tribute to TFC’s ‘architect’. – Bernama
