Maxim Malaysia launches Maxim Drive Hub, a nationwide driver education programme across 16 cities to improve professionalism, compliance and e-hailing services.
MAXIM Malaysia has launched a nationwide driver education programme Maxim Drive Hub, aimed at improving service quality, strengthening driver professionalism and enhancing the overall e-hailing experience for passengers across Malaysia.
The initiative, which spans 16 cities across Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak, represents one of the company’s largest driver-focused educational campaigns to date. It introduces a more structured approach to driver onboarding, compliance awareness and operational training as Maxim continues expanding its footprint nationwide.
With demand for e-hailing services steadily increasing, Maxim places a greater emphasis on ensuring its driver-partners are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to deliver safe, reliable and professional services while navigating an evolving industry landscape.
Through a series of in-person workshops held at selected Maxim branches, participants will receive practical training covering registration processes, documentation requirements, platform navigation and service optimisation using the Taxsee Driver application.
The programme caters to both newly registered and existing driver-partners, helping them better understand industry regulations and operational best practices.

Among the key topics covered are onboarding procedures, tutorials on application features such as Auto Mode and Filters, guidance on obtaining Public Service Vehicle (PSV) licences and E-Hailing Vehicle Permits (EVP), e-hailing insurance requirements, as well as information on the government’s BUDI95 petrol subsidy programme.
In addition to compliance and operational training, Maxim Drive Hub also introduces participants to various income-generating opportunities available through the platform, including referral programmes, urgent order features, vehicle advertising initiatives and shift purchase systems designed to help drivers maximise earnings and create more sustainable income streams.
Drivers participating in Maxim’s vehicle advertising programme may also enjoy benefits such as lower commission rates, higher booking priority and additional monthly incentives.
Maxim E-Hailing Malaysia Director Mohd Hazwan Musley said the initiative reflects the company’s commitment to building a more knowledgeable and service-oriented driver community nationwide.
“As the e-hailing industry continues to expand, it is important for drivers to be equipped with the right knowledge and understanding of operational standards, compliance requirements and platform features.
“Through this initiative, we want to support our driver-partners by providing clearer guidance and practical exposure that can help them deliver better services to passengers while improving their own opportunities within the industry,” he said.
Hazwan added that Maxim aims to establish a more consistent standard of professionalism across its nationwide driver network through continuous education and engagement efforts.
“We believe educational programmes such as these are important not only for drivers, but also for strengthening public confidence in e-hailing services overall. Maxim will continue working closely with our driver community to ensure the services provided remain safe, reliable and worthwhile for Malaysians nationwide,” he said.
The Maxim Drive Hub programme is currently being implemented across key locations including Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru, Kuantan, Kota Kinabalu, Sandakan, Sibu, Kuching, Bintulu and Labuan, among other selected cities nationwide.
The rollout underscores Maxim’s long-term commitment to supporting local driver communities while contributing to higher service standards within Malaysia’s growing digital transportation sector.
Drivers interested in joining upcoming workshop sessions or registering as Maxim driver-partners can obtain further information through their nearest Maxim branch or the the e-hailing company’s official communication channels.
