vivo V70 arrives in Malaysia with Golden Hour colour

vivo Malaysia launches the V70 smartphone in Golden Hour, Alpine Gray & Authentic Black, with AU 999 Gold Wafer pre-order gift

VIVO MALAYSIA is set to make a bold statement with the arrival of the vivo V70 — a premium smartphone that draws deep inspiration from Malaysia’s most breathtaking sunsets. At the heart of its launch is the Golden Hour colourway, a design language that transcends aesthetics to capture emotion, warmth, and the radiant glow of life’s most cherished moments. Inspired by serene Malaysian beaches, vibrant city skylines, and unforgettable dusk panoramas, Golden Hour has been recognised by vivo as “The Best Colour of the Year” — a testament to vivo’s design philosophy that connects with users on a deeply personal level.

A Major Leap in Design and Craftsmanship

The vivo V70 marks a significant evolution for the V series, raising the bar in both materials and precision engineering. Its flagship aerospace-grade metal frame — crafted from space-grade 6-series aluminium alloy — delivers exceptional strength and superior corrosion resistance. Through multiple polishing processes and micrometer-level precision in oxidation layers, the device exudes a consistently refined metallic texture.

A dynamic floating camera module with faceted highlights further enhances the metallic sheen, while a sleek camera bump of just 3.29 mm ensures a clean, sophisticated profile. The rear glass surface adopts a brand-new metallic grit process, resulting in a matte, translucent finish that is both fingerprint-resistant and scratch-protected — skin-friendly to the touch.

On the front, the vivo V70 features a large flat display with ultra-thin bezels — just 1.25 mm on the sides, 1.46 mm at the top, and 1.77 mm at the bottom — paired with a display radius of 10.4 mm and a device frame radius of 12.5 mm. The result is a premium, immersive visual experience with higher-order curves and seamless transitions.

Three Premium Colours, One Bold Statement

The vivo V70 is available in three distinctive colour options: Golden Hour, Alpine Gray, and Authentic Black. As the hero colourway, Golden Hour reflects the natural light and energy uniquely found across Malaysia, offering an expression of personal style wrapped in premium refinement. Each option has been crafted to resonate with different personalities while maintaining the device’s overarching sense of elegance.

Alongside its launch, vivo is set to collaborate with POP MART’s ZSIGA Series, offering a creative extension of the Golden Hour concept. Full details of this collaboration will be unveiled soon.

Pre-Order Perks: Gold Wafer and Exclusive Gifts

From 24 February to 13 March 2026, customers who pre-order the vivo V70 at vivo Concept Stores can unlock an impressive suite of exclusive rewards. The showstopper? An AU 999 Gold Wafer — a genuinely golden gift that mirrors the phone’s hero theme. Pre-order customers will also receive:

  • 365-day extended warranty via vivo Care
  • 180-day screen protection warranty via vivo Care
