NETIZENS are outraged about a product that looks to be a knockoff of Khairul Aming’s Sambal Nyet Berapi.
@madaninetwork_ revealed a counterfeit brand on X after users noticed that the packaging and stickers of the goods offered by the company owner were pretty comparable.
The user also included some product images in the message, as well as a link to purchase, which regrettably no longer exists.
Customers who purchased the goods also received a note from the business owner thanking them for their support.
The marketing of the sambal as “Sambal Nyet Khairi” with a red label, closely mimicking Khairul Aming’s product, sparked outrage among netizens.
“The wording and entire look were quite similar to the influencer’s “Sambal Nyet Berapi.”
Some consumers claimed they thought they were obtaining Khairul Aming’s sambal, only to realize it was only packaged to appear like his.
“I was one of the victims,“ one X user said. “At first, I thought it was Khairul Aming’s, but then I realized it was a knockoff.”
“I almost wanted to get that,“ said another person. “When I placed the items to my cart and went to check out, I saw the label stated ‘Khairi.’ It’s a good thing I didn’t make the buy.”
What are your thoughts on this situation? Have you been one of the victims of this Sambal Nyet Khairi?
