A Malaysian entrepreneur by the name of Zila has been sharing her journey selling nasi lemak on TikTok page @byzilaa. But recently, a video shared by Zila on why she works despite being nine months pregnant has gone viral.

In the 22-second video, Zila justified her actions, explaining that she hopes to earn some money before taking a sabbatical after giving birth.

“When people buy all of my food, I always get really happy because it allows me to leave early.”

“Working allows me to forget about the suffering I’ve experienced,” captioned the video.

Many Malaysians voiced their concern for Zila, saying that she ought to take more time off before giving birth rather than working as much as she does.

A user under her video claimed that “she would be more at ease when it comes time for her to give birth, suggesting that the work may benefit both mother and child.”

While, a different person noted “all the hard work will be worth it once the baby is born, as the child will grow up and take care of Zila in the future.”

We raise our hats off to Zila for working so hard for her baby. What are your thoughts and feelings regarding this working supermom?
