The news of the Bachchan family testing positive for Covid-19 is known around the world by now. Shweta Bachchan Nanda is one of the few in the family who tested negative and she shared a post on Instagram about the feeling of absence.

In the Bachchan family, only Jaya, Shweta, her children Navya Naveli Nanda, Agastya Nanda, and 26 staff members tested negative.

Her Instagram photo showed a morning sky filled with clouds and a ball of sun in a corner. Near the centre of the picture was a bird flying across the sky.

Her caption is a quote by British writer, CS Lewis: ‘...absence is like the sky, spread over everything.’

Fans left heart and hug emojis, and caring messages for the author, journalist and former model.

Last Sunday, the patriarch of the family Amitabh Bachchan and his son Abishek was diagnosed with Covid-19. While they were admitted to a hospital in Mumbai, his daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai and eight-year-old granddaughter Aaradhya tested negative and self-isolated themselves at their bungalow in Jalsa.

However, both Aiswarya and Aaradhya’s swab test results came back positive the next day. They remained isolated in their home since they were both stable and asymptomatic. Unfortunately, both were rushed to Nanavati Hospital after experiencing breathlessness and mild fever on Friday.

Amitabh Bachchan shared an image on Twitter and Instagram featuring him, Abhishek, Aiswarya and Aaradhya and thanked fans for their prayers and blessings.

“We see your love .. we hear your prayers .. we fold our hands in gratitude and thanks!” he wrote in the caption.
