BARRED from participating in protests against Israeli aggression in Palestine, a group of teenagers from multiple nations convened a Palestinian unity event on a well-known gaming platform, Roblox.
The video of the “online gathering” has garnered attention from all over the globe.
X user, @jllmisai has garnered over 694,700 views with 23,700 likes since the user reposted a video capturing the event.
The original video was posted by X user @sushislurpee and has reached almost 10 million views since yesterday (Oct 24).
Their virtual representations stood out as symbols of resilience against a backdrop of digitally created cityscapes, marching and protesting with unyielding resolve while proudly raising the Palestinian flag high in the pixelated skies.
The participants showed their commitment in the 45- second video, as they marched together while chanting ‘Allahu Akbar’ (God is great) in unison.
Signs and posters that read ‘Solidarity Untukmu Palestine’ were displayed throughout the Roblox’s domain.
The Malaysian flag, also made a few appearances with Roblox’s characters wearing it, further emphasising the international nature of this online event.
