Uninvited ‘guests’ crash M’sian singer’s wedding for free food

EVERY bride wants their wedding day to go smoothly and without issues— after all, the couple invested a lot of time, money and thought into it. So imagine being a bride and finding out that there are unwanted people who have crashed your wedding, taken the seats that belong to the actual guests and ate the food?

That is what happened to Malaysian singer Jacqueline Ng.

She recently hosted a wedding in KL that went awry when uninvited folks crashed the wedding before declaring they had the right to eat and replace the guests who were rightfully given seats.

Jacqueline took to Facebook to vent on what transpired and according to her, the uninvited folks were mostly uncles and aunties looking for a free meal.

It was alleged that these so-called ‘neighbour’s stated “Hello, I’m the bride’s neighbour!”

The wedding crashers, according to Jacqueline, were “shameless”. They also caused a disorderly situation when they took the seats that belonged to actual guests.

Adding insult to injury, she claimed that one of the “uncles” who had impersonated her neighbour had subsequently been “exposed” by Jacqueline’s actual neighbour.

If you thought that would cause him to leave the premises, the uncle moved to another table and carried on eating without showing any humility.

Text messages inquiring about the “uncles and aunties” seated at their table were sent to Jacqueline by her friends following the wedding.

Since they were focusing on the “free food,“ the friends believed that these so-called uncles and aunties were not part of the guest list.

“If you don’t have money to eat, tell me. I can treat you to a meal but please don’t come uninvited! The seats were taken and I couldn’t serve some of the guests properly!” she added as she concluded her post.

What a tragedy, particularly because her wedding was crashed and ruined by uninvited guests. What would you do if you were in her shoes?
