A COUPLE’S display of affection had allegedly triggered a verbal onslaught from an older man recently in the MRT.
Sin Chew Daily reported that the couple had recounted the incident on Xiaohongshu initially.
In the post, it was said that the boyfriend was seen resting his head on his girlfriend’s shoulders after an asthma attack and was experiencing some discomfort.
Halfway through, the boyfriend had apparently kissed his girlfriend on her head and that is when things took a turn for the worst as an older man had recorded their actions and started yelling and swearing at the young couple.
“Do you know what you have done? If you want to do intimate things, then go to a private area. This is a public area. You should respect the public!
“F*k you! What the f*k is this?! If you want to have sex, then go somewhere private,” the older man said to the young couple.
Bewildered and confused, the couple defended themselves against his accusation.
“We did not do anything. Why do you say that we did that? We did not hug or kiss each other! We know how to behave ourselves,” the girl replied.
The girl added that she and her boyfriend had even apologised to the man but her boyfriend was quite upset after that for not standing up to the older man at the time.
