Teacher faces harassment as students pose disrespectful questions

INSTANCES of outrageous student behaviour are sadly becoming more common, leaving teachers questioning their tolerance.

A recent video shared on X by user @aqilfeehily captured a teacher being interrupted during an online lesson by disrespectful questions posted by his students.

Some inquiries were as simple as questioning the class start time or expressing boredom, but one crossed a line by making a personal and inappropriate comment about the teacher’s appearance.

The unnamed teacher, in the midst of the lesson, responded to these disruptions by urging students to let him do his job and suggesting those finding it boring could leave.

However, one student’s comment went too far, comparing the teacher’s face to an officer involved in an incident with an SPM candidate the previous week.

In response, the teacher halted the lesson to emphasise the importance of mutual respect, conveying to his students that respect is something earned, not given.
