Viral reports warn commuters about a man harassing women at Kelana Jaya LRT stations.
A man allegedly posing as a delivery courier has alarmed public transport users after multiple women reported being harassed at LRT stations along the Kelana Jaya line.
In a viral post by @purrin__ on Threads, one commuter shared her frightening encounters with the same man, who approached her three times — at Ampang Park and Pasar Seni stations — complimenting her shoes before following her around.
According to her post, he stood uncomfortably close, chased her through the station, and even sniffed her hair during one encounter, despite crowds being present.
“He always carries a delivery courier bag and starts by talking about your shoes. Please be careful — he follows you even if you ignore him,” she warned.
The post quickly sparked reactions, with many women sharing similar experiences.
User @cut.aye recalled, “This guy also followed me at the Mid Valley career fair and kept commenting on my shoes. I managed to escape though because it was really crowded.”
Another woman @imymeizanis also wrote that she had a close encounter at the Jobstreet Fair in Mid Valley, where the man asked detailed questions about her open heels before disappearing.
Meanwhile, @fazasleep, said, “I was on the train once, wearing baggy jeans that covered my shoes. He approached and commented on them, which made me feel very uncomfortable. Everyone should be careful.”
Others urged caution, with @win.and.grin reminding commuters to report harassment at every stop, and @zuestuff suggesting filing a police report given the number of victims.
Authorities have yet to issue an official statement regarding the incidents, but commuters are strongly advised to remain vigilant, particularly at Ampang Park and Pasar Seni stations, where the majority of reports have emerged.
