A 59-year-old construction worker from Johor has struck gold, winning a staggering RM10,610,543 Magnum 4D Jackpot 1 prize, bringing a two-decade streak of persistence to a life-changing conclusion.
The winner, who has faithfully placed RM20 bets for more than 20 years, purchased his winning ticket at a Magnum 4D outlet in Permas Jaya.
While the man usually preferred 4D Classic and only occasionally experimented with the 4D Jackpot, a spontaneous decision led to his windfall.
After spotting a Lucky Pick ticket displayed on the outlet’s glass panel, he decided to purchase it on a whim.
That decision proved monumental when the numbers 2106 (second prize) and 0963 (third prize) matched perfectly, securing him the grand Jackpot 1 prize.
The winner was initially unaware of his new millionaire status. It was only when he returned to the same outlet a few days later to place new bets and check his previous tickets that the staff informed him of the win.
“I was in total shock. I never imagined a Lucky Pick ticket could actually be this lucky,” he said.
The news was so overwhelming that the winner admitted to struggling with sleep for several nights as the reality of the windfall set in.

Despite the massive fortune, the humble worker remains grounded.
He stated that he has no immediate plans to retire and will continue working in construction for the time being. The couple intend to take their time before deciding how to best manage and invest their winnings.
