The Sabah State Legislative Assembly passes the RM1.61 billion Supplementary Supply Bill 2026 after debate by 42 assemblymen.
KOTA KINABALU: The Sabah State Legislative Assembly today passed the RM1.61 billion Supplementary Supply Bill 2026 after it was debated by 42 assemblymen.
The Bill, tabled yesterday by Deputy Chief Minister II and State Finance Minister Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun, was approved by a majority voice vote before Sabah State Legislative Assembly Deputy Speaker Datuk Al Hambra Tun Juhar.
The additional allocation comprises six expenditure categories, namely RM856 million for statutory fund contributions, RM278 million for operating expenditure and RM210 million for development expenditure.
It also includes RM162 million for administrative expenditure, RM93 million in state grants and RM13 million in special allocations.
The Sabah State Legislative Assembly sitting will resume tomorrow.
