A man is believed to have been shot dead in Klang’s Taman Mesra Indah, with forensic teams and K9 units conducting investigations at the scene
A man is believed to have been shot dead inside a four-wheel drive vehicle, according to viral videos showing him slumped unconscious.
The incident reportedly occurred around Taman Mesra Indah here at approximately 9pm yesterday, with several witnesses claiming to have heard multiple gunshots.
No official confirmation regarding the incident has been provided as of yet.
Meanwhile, observations confirmed that K9 units and forensic teams were seen conducting investigations at the location.
Separately, a woman believed to be the victim’s mother broke down upon learning her son had been shot dead.
She arrived at the scene around 11.15pm with several other individuals and attempted to see the victim’s condition but was prevented by police personnel on duty.
“That’s my son, my son,” she said in a distraught state before being comforted by police officers and members of the public at the location.
According to Bernama, Selangor police chief Datuk Shazeli Kahar said the Klang Selatan district police headquarters (IPD) control centre received the information at 8.35 pm last night.
“The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code and the motive for the incident is still under investigation.
“Members of the public who saw or have information regarding the incident are asked to come forward to assist in the investigation or contact Senior Criminal Investigation Officer ASP Mohd Harman Mohd Haniff at 019-2100334 or the Klang Selatan IPD Operations Room at 03-33762222,” he said in a statement today.
