The Rancakkan MADANI programme attracted more than 300,000 visitors, showcasing government services and 167 new initiatives

PUTRAJAYA: The Rancakkan MADANI Bersama Malaysiaku programme received an overwhelming response, drawing more than 300,000 visitors over its three-day run.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said the event aimed to let the public assess the government’s achievements and experience its services firsthand.

He congratulated everyone for their strong support in making the programme a success.

The event was attended by Deputy Prime Ministers Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof, along with Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil and other cabinet members.

Anwar stated that over the past three years, the MADANI Government has introduced 167 new targeted initiatives for all Malaysians.

He noted that accurate information about these initiatives often does not reach the public, overshadowed by criticism on social media.

The Prime Minister urged civil servants to intensify efforts in communicating government policies to the grassroots.

He asked them to convey what the government has implemented and propose improvements where needed.

Anwar also expressed appreciation to the cabinet and top civil service leadership for supporting his administration’s policies.

He said the measure of success is not only economic growth but the overall well-being and comfort of the people.

The Prime Minister expressed gratitude that the majority of people care for their communities within the broader context of the nation.

The Rancakkan MADANI programme featured over 300 people-centric services, a career fair, and interactive exhibitions.

It also included family-friendly activities and special offers for the public.

The event continues the government’s tradition of annual public reporting, following similar events in 2023 and 2024. – Bernama
