US to release hundreds of thousands of Epstein case documents

The US Department of Justice will release several hundred thousand documents related to Jeffrey Epstein’s case as a legal deadline expires

WASHINGTON: The US Department of Justice is set to release several hundred thousand documents related to late financier Jeffrey Epstein’s case.

US Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche confirmed the release on Friday as a 30-day deadline expired.

“I expect that we are going to release several hundred thousand documents today, and those documents will come in different forms, photographs and other materials associated with all of the investigations into Epstein,” Blanche told Fox News.

US President Donald Trump said in November that he had signed a Bill to release files related to the Epstein case.

Under the law, the department must disclose all related materials by December 19. – Bernama-Sputnik/RIA Novosti
