Pahang Palace warns of fake aid scams using Tunku Azizah’s name

The Pahang Palace has issued a stern warning over fraudulent social media and WhatsApp messages falsely promising cash aid in the name of Tengku Ampuan Tunku Azizah.

KUANTAN: The Pahang Palace has denied that Tengku Ampuan Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah is offering cash assistance via social media or WhatsApp.

The palace issued a statement following the circulation of deceptive messages using her name, which promise substantial financial aid while soliciting personal information.

It stressed that the act constitutes an irresponsible fraud attempt that could tarnish the royal institution’s image.

The public is advised to remain vigilant and verify information authenticity to avoid being duped by such false offers.

Anyone contacted with suspicious messages purportedly from Her Royal Highness is urged to report promptly to the authorities.
