Nooryana pens emotional birthday tribute to Najib ahead of heart procedure
PETALING JAYA: Nooryana Najwa, the daughter of former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak, became emotional as she marked her father’s birthday on July 23 with a heartfelt tribute.
Nooryana, better known as Yana, said Najib had taught her the true meaning of resilience despite facing immense personal challenges.
She described her father as a generous, positive and strong-willed individual, even as he prepares to undergo a heart-related medical procedure.
“His faith has never wavered. Indeed, with patience comes strength.
“I will always be your biggest cheerleader. We keep willing each other on, never giving up hope, never letting go of the dream that one day we’ll be reunited again—with so much love, laughter and precious moments to make up for.
“Happy birthday, Daddy. We love you forever,” she wrote in an Instagram post on Thursday.
The daughter of Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor also prayed that Najib, who is currently serving a prison sentence at Kajang Prison, would be blessed with good health and remain under Allah’s protection.
Yana also shared an Instagram Story showing herself outside Kajang Prison with the caption, “Happy Birthday Daddy”.
It was reported over the weekend that Najib is scheduled to undergo a medical procedure to remove plaque detected near a blood vessel.
Rosmah said the family deeply appreciated the concern and prayers expressed by friends, relatives and Najib’s supporters following updates on his health.
She also appealed to the public to continue praying that the former prime minister’s medical procedure and all related matters proceed smoothly.
