KUALA LUMPUR: PT RHB Asset Management Indonesia, a member of the RHB Banking Group, yesterday launched the RHB TM Indo-Asia Equity Fund in Jakarta, aimed at optimising returns within the medium to long term.

The funds’ investment strategy focuses on capital markets, specifically equity investment via public offering from the local and foreign stock markets.
PT RHB Asset Management Indonesia president director Rima Suhaimi said since the RHB TM Indo-Asia Equity Fund was introduced to the market earlier this month, the fund has reached 40 billion rupiah (RM13.28 million).
“We are confident in achieving our target asset under management (AUM) of 300 billion rupiah by the end of 2017 due to encouraging response from retail investors” said Rima in a statement.
The fund is invested in corporate shares with big to medium market capitalisation in Indonesia and Asia ex-Japan. It claims to look at achieving outcomes beyond traditional market for diversified sectors, catalysts and countries.
