New Toyota JB showroom sets benchmark for future

    UMW Toyota Motor Sdn Bhd’s (UMWT) latest RM15 million showroom in Johor Bahru was officially opened this week. Located in Jalan Tun Abdul Razak (Susur 5), it replaces the previous showroom in Jalan Kebun.
    “The new concept includes the latest layout and design that reflect a modern showroom. It offers a stylish and comfortable lounge area, where customers can enjoy their coffee, surf the internet or browse through the product information via digital spec stands at their own leisure, when they visit the showroom,” UMWT stated.
    The showroom also has special display area to highlight new model or key sales model, as well as a display to show the lifestyle image projected on Toyota models. To enhance customer experience, it also have an accessories display area and a merchandise corner where customers could browse and purchase Toyota TRD merchandise items.
    UMWT deputy chairman, Akio Takeyama, said the showroom is UMWT’s first showroom that features the Next Generation Toyota Showroom concept. “This new initiative was to upgrade the overall Toyota showrooms environment all over the region with a new concept that would appeal to the younger generation while maintaining Toyota’s Corporate Image.”
    UMWT president, Datuk Ismet Suki, said the new facility is to become a model outlet for Toyota’s Next Generation Showroom Concept. In future, more Toyota showroom as well as our service centres will adopt this new concept.
