Customer frustrated after charged RM2 for a small serving of chilli sauce

“One set of nuggets and fries costs RM15. I asked, so you’re charging RM2 just for this sauce packet?”

A Malaysian netizen was shocked after she was charged RM2 for a small serving of chilli sauce.

Posting on TikTok, the customer described their frustration:

“The receipt said “extra sauce RM2.” I thought we’d get an extra portion of sauce. So I went to the counter to ask — RM2 just for this big sauce packet, sis? She pointed to the price listed beside the counter.”

“One set of nuggets and fries costs RM15. I asked, so you’re charging RM2 just for this sauce packet?”

She explained that she left the food court as she did not want lose her temper and cause a scene at the eatery.

She shared that the location of the eatery was located in a food court in a shopping mall in Kuala Lumpur.

“RM2 for that little portion of sauce — what do you all think?” she asked at the end of her post.

Other netizens weighed in on the discussion, advising him to report on the matter.

@alpha_bravomike noted: “KFC, Jollibee, Texas… all give sauce for free. Take as much as you want, they don’t charge. But here, just a food court… RM2 for sauce… crazy.”
