Netizens slam a JB eatery for charging RM14.20 for just 6 nuggets at Bazaar Karat, calling it overpriced and not even presentable.

A simple snack has sparked a heated debate online after a visitor to an eatery in JB shared their surprise over the price of chicken nuggets.

“Guys, is this a normal price for 6 pieces of nuggets? At JB area,” the post read.

The shopper revealed that they were charged RM14.20 for just six pieces — a price many netizens deemed excessive.

Social media users were quick to express their disapproval. Comments ranged from disbelief to frustration over the high cost of a basic snack, with some pointing out that similar items at other eateries cost far less.

“Huh. As far as I know, palm oil doesn’t need to pass through the Strait of Hormuz,” one user called sipofcaffeines joked.

“RM14? For a little more money, you could buy a whole pack of tempura at Mydin!!! Are 6 pieces supposed to fill you up until next Ramadan?” st999rsya asked.

“This doesn’t look appetizing or presentable at all for RM14, especially since it’s only 6 pieces,” ziqtofu wrote.
