JOHOR BAHRU: The Raja Puan Besar of Perak, Raja Nazhatul Shima Sultan Idris Shah heads the list of 10 recipients of state honours in conjunction with the Sultan of Johor, Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar’s birthday.
According to a posting on the Johor Sultan’s Facebook page, Raja Nazhatul Shima was conferred the Darjah Kerabat Johor Yang Amat Dihormati Pangkat Kedua (DK II), at an investiture ceremony at Balai Mengadap, Istana Bukit Serene, here today.
Johor Menteri Besar Datuk Hasni Mohammad received the Darjah Mahkota Johor yang Amat Mulia Pangkat Pertama Dato’ Sri Paduka Mahkota Johor (SPMJ), which carries the title Datuk.
Sultan Ibrahim also conferred the Darjah Sultan Ibrahim Johor Yang Amat Disanjungi Pangkat Kedua Dato’ Mulia Sultan Ibrahim Johor (DMIJ), which carries the Datuk title, on Johor Bahru district officer Abdul Rahman Salleh, Pasir Gudang mayor Asman Shah Abd Rahman and Johor deputy Mufti Ahmad Faisal Mohamed.
Five people received the Darjah Sultan Ibrahim Johor Yang Amat Disanjungi Pangkat Ketiga Setia Mulia Sultan Ibrahim Johor (SIJ), namely Kota Tinggi district officer Hazlina Jalil, Kulai district officer Zainor Adani, Sultanah Aminah Hospital, Johod Bahru director Dr Mohtar Pungut @ Ahmad, Johor State Health Department deputy director Dr Shaharom Nor Azian Che Mat Din and State Kadi Besar Halid Sono.
Also present at the ceremony were the Permaisuri of Johor Raja Zarith Sofiah Almarhum Sultan Idris Shah, the Tunku Mahkota of Johor Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim and his wife Che’ Puan Khaleeda Bustamam. — Bernama
