TEST takers will soon be able to take IELTS, the world’s most trusted English test, on a computer at IDP’s Subang Jaya centre from Dec 5 onwards.

To book your test, please visit www.idp.com/malaysia. The price for the Computer-delivered IELTS test is RM795 which is the same as the paper IELTS test.

The new option enables test takers to get their results within a week. By the end of January 2019, there will be two test sessions per day conducted from Monday to Friday.

All test components will be conducted on the same day, thus candidates can complete their IELTS test in one day.

While test takers now have the choice between taking IELTS either on computer or paper, the listening, reading and writing test content remains the same, and the speaking test will continue to be face-to-face with a certified and experienced IELTS examiner.

At IDP Subang Jaya, there is a new computer test lab that houses 12 computers for the test. The Computer-delivered IELTS or CD-IELTS test is available for Academic and General Testing. IELTS test takers can find free practice materials online at www.idp.com/malaysia.

Ajay Rao, Country Director for IDP Malaysia, said that the new test experience puts test takers first by offering more test sessions a week and faster results, while still maintaining the trust, integrity and security that is relied upon by the organisations who accept the results.

“We are immensely proud to offer more choices for our ambitious customers, so they are empowered to achieve their best results on test day, and in turn, achieve their goals,” he said.
