Due to his current health condition, His Majesty was also unable to attend the opening ceremony of the Sultan Ibrahim Mosque at Universiti Pertahanan Nasional Malaysia (UPNM) on Thursday (February 27).

The event has since been postponed to a later date.

His Majesty has conveyed that he will resume attending official events once his health improves.

It was previously reported that the Yang di-Pertuan Agong underwent medical treatment abroad for musculoskeletal pain and returned to Malaysia two weeks later.

The pain was attributed to Sultan Ibrahim’s active lifestyle and military training, referencing to his polo matches as a youth.
