PNM introduces Quickbook2U@PNM and QuickKarel to boost digital access to books and rental spaces, aligning with MADANI government goals
PUTRAJAYA: The Ministry of National Unity through the National Library of Malaysia (PNM) today introduced two digital service initiatives to facilitate public access to reading materials and library facilities.
The initiatives are Quickbook2U@PNM and the Rental Space Booking Management System (QuickKarel), according to a ministry statement.
The ministry said the initiatives align with the MADANI Government’s aspiration to simplify public dealings, cultivate a knowledge-based society, and enhance access to reading materials and library services.
Quickbook2U@PNM allows users to book books online without physically visiting the library, while also offering direct delivery to users’ locations.
QuickKarel is a digital platform that enables the public to book rental spaces online in a faster, more systematic and efficient manner.
National Unity Minister Datuk Aaron Ago Dagang said both systems reflect the ministry’s continuous commitment to modernising service delivery to the public, while strengthening digital innovation and expanding access to knowledge and library facilities.
