Traffic patrols watching – smile for the camera

Op Lancar runs from February 11 until February 22 to ease congestion in KL and Putrajaya, with police targeting 15 accident black spots and 30 traffic hot spots.

PETALING JAYA: Clock’s ticking! From Feb 11–22, Op Lancar is swooping in to untangle the worst jams in KL and Putrajaya. Expect cops, cameras, cones, and plenty of sass if you think you can outrun the law.

Purpose: Smooth traffic flow with personnel deployment, speed monitoring, patrols, and road safety advocacy.

Focus Areas:

  • 15 Black Spots – high-risk accident locations
  • 30 Hot Spots – heavy congestion points

Enforcement will be carried out at identified Black Spot locations in Kuala Lumpur, including:
