TAYLOR’S EDUCATION GROUP has marked a new chapter in the legacy of its SS15 campus with the groundbreaking of Haus on 15, a purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) development that will transform the historic site into a modern student living environment.
The redevelopment signals the evolution of the long-standing Taylor’s College campus in Subang Jaya into a space designed to meet the changing needs of higher education, with a focus on student wellbeing, community living and an integrated campus experience beyond the classroom.
Situated within one of Malaysia’s key education hubs, the project is being developed by Taylor’s Assets, the property investment and asset management arm of Taylor’s Education Group, in partnership with Gamuda Land.
As part of its long-term strategy to create future-ready education and lifestyle environments, Taylor’s Assets has incorporated a dedicated PBSA component within Haus on 15, which will be managed by Taylor’s Hostel Management (THM), Malaysia’s leading internationally awarded student accommodation operator.
THM’s Taylor’s Residence was recently recognised with three honours at the Asia-Pacific Student Accommodation Association (APSAA) Awards 2026, underscoring its focus on safe and holistic student living experiences.

The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by long-standing partners and stakeholders, reflecting the campus’s enduring role in Malaysia’s higher education landscape and its continued relevance to future generations of students.
Taylor’s College first established its Subang Jaya campus in 1990, and over the past three decades it has become a prominent landmark in the country’s education sector.
The campus has welcomed thousands of students from Malaysia and abroad, many of whom have gone on to hold leadership positions across business, government, entrepreneurship and civil society.
Among its notable alumni are Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Federal Territories) and Segambut MP YB Hannah Yeoh, Secret Recipe Cakes & Café Group CEO Patrick Sim, and Asia Mobiliti Technologies co-founder and CEO Ramachandran Muniandy.
Taylor’s Education Group executive chairman Datuk Loy Teik Ngan said the transformation of the site reflects the institution’s evolving educational mission.
“Taylor’s College Subang Jaya has shaped generations of students and remains an important part of our legacy. By reimagining this historic site as a vibrant student living community, we are creating an environment that enriches the educational experience and strengthens the region’s position as a preferred destination for students from around the world,” he said.
Gamuda Land chief executive officer Gim Teck Yew said the redevelopment balances heritage with future needs.
“This is a site with deep meaning and memories for many. As we begin this transformation, our focus is to honour its legacy while responding to the evolving needs of today’s students and urban communities. SS15 and Subang Jaya have always been shaped by education, connectivity and vibrancy, and this development continues that story in a meaningful way,” he said.
Haus on 15 forms part of the wider SS15–Subang Jaya education corridor, one of Malaysia’s most established higher education districts, surrounded by institutions including Taylor’s University, Monash University Malaysia, Sunway University, INTI International College and SEGi College Subang Jaya.
