A pair of foreigners were recently caught illegally selling grilled corn on the side of the road near KLCC.
The video circulating on X showed one of the workers prepping the corn while the other grilled it.
“Please arrest these people,“ reads the description of the post. Right in front of KLCC, they’re cooking corn. They’re generating a lot of smoke and rubbish. Every night, DBKL must go on patrol. You can’t just sit back and wait for people to complain.”
In the aim of attracting the attention of Federal Territories Minister Dr Zaliha Mustafa, the account also tagged her.
The video is currently going viral, with netizens urging the appropriate authorities to act.
“They have a good eye for chances. They are aware of the high volume of foot traffic in the vicinity. Thus, there is a good likelihood of sales.” A user claimed.
“An illustration of the inefficiency, laziness, and slowness of our authorities.” Simply squandering tax dollars,“ said another user.
