ON Friday, two people boldly committed an armed robbery in Persiaran Pegaga, Klang, targeting a man who had just taken out a bank withdrawal.

It was reported, that they were armed with a baseball bat and a long machete.

Since then, the incident—which was recorded by a dashboard camera has since gone viral on social media, bringing attention to how daring the attack was.

At a traffic light junction, the attackers approached the victim’s Mercedes Benz while wearing dark-coloured hoodies.

They used their weapons to break the car’s windshield in an unexpected act of aggressiveness in an effort to take the money the driver had just taken out.

However, because to the heavy traffic at the crossing, the victim had difficulties while trying to flee.

It is clear from the video footage that the victim’s fingers were injured during the incident.

The thieves were successful in their effort to take a bag that belonged to the victim and got it out of the car’s right-side window.

The 40-year-old victim had a scrape on his right arm and a broken finger bone in his left hand.

Superintendent Kamalariffin Aman Shah, the deputy police chief of the Klang Selatan District, verified the occurrence and said that they had received a report around 7:20 p.m. on Saturday, according to Berita Harian.

Before being taken advantage of by the armed attackers on Friday at 2:00 pm, the victim had taken a little amount of cash out of an ATM on Jalan Meru.

The victim’s losses are estimated to be RM6,000, which includes the stolen laptop and damage to both door mirrors.
