Shiraz Projects brilliantly resurrects Malaysia’s Cross-Country Festival

AFTER facing numerous challenges and delays, Shiraz Projects is proud to announce the return of a festival that unites Malaysia, Indonesia, and Singapore in one vibrant celebration.

The festival, known as Nusa Fest, will take place in Bandar Malaysia, Sungai Besi, on July 8 and 9, 2023, beginning at noon each day.

Previously disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent delays, Nusa Fest is back with a stellar lineup of renowned artists from the three countries. Through the shared rhythms and beats of friendship, the festival hopes to bring the three countries closer together.

The Cross-Country Festival will also feature three major headliners in the music industry: Search, Wings, and Butterfingers.

This highly anticipated moment has been eagerly awaited by fans, as it marks the reunion of Search and Wings on the same stage, promising an unforgettable experience. Butterfingers will also make a memorable return to Nusa Fest after a four-year absence, much to the delight of their devoted fan base.

Shiraz Projects proudly presented the highly anticipated final lineup of Nusa Fest performers at the Nusa Fest Headliner Press Conference held last Tuesday, June 27, at the PARKROYAL Hotel in Kuala Lumpur.

$!After a four-year absence, the well-known Butterfingers will return to the stage.

The announcement of the final lineup is a significant milestone in the journey leading up to the festival, which has been eagerly anticipated by music enthusiasts and fans alike. The stage is now set for a remarkable gathering of talented artists who will grace Nusa Fest with their extraordinary performances.

The eagerly anticipated event will feature a phenomenal lineup of both local and international acts, promising an unforgettable experience for attendees. The lineup includes renowned Malaysian acts such as Wings, Search, Butterfingers, Kugiran Masdo, Salammusik, Forceparkbois, Iqbal M., White Percussion Unit, Jemson, Budak Nakal Hujung Simpang, Gerhana Skacinta, and Monoloque.

Joining them on stage will be acclaimed Indonesian artists including Fourtwnty, Barasuara, Pusakata, Efek Rumah Kaca, Kelompok Penerbang Roket, The Changcuters, Burgerkill, Seringai, Diskoria, Dipha Barus, and Ras Muhamad. Representing Singapore, we have The Pinholes, adding an international touch to the festival.

Not only that, the Nusa festival will also feature various activities, including the Nusa Theatre with two stages providing non-stop performances. The festival will showcase twelve Malaysian groups, eleven Indonesian performers, and one Singaporean group. Further, attendees can enjoy the culinary delights of Warong Nusa, offering a variety of delicious food, and explore Pasar Nusa, a marketplace showcasing arts and handicrafts from Nusantara.
