The Football Association of Malaysia’s entire executive committee has resigned, with the governing body formally notifying FIFA and the AFC of the collective departure.
FOOTBALL Association of Malaysia (FAM) has formally notified FIFA and the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) of the collective resignation of its entire Executive Committee.
The resignations, effective from Wednesday, were announced by FAM in a post on its official Facebook page.
Letters from FAM Secretary-General Datuk Noor Azman Rahman were sent to FIFA Secretary-General Mattias Grafstrom and AFC Secretary-General Datuk Seri Windsor John.
The entire lineup of FAM Exco members for the 2025–2029 term resigned collectively and voluntarily with immediate effect.
Former acting FAM President Datuk Mohd Yusoff Mahadi said the decision was unanimous and made in the interest of the organisation.
He stated it was not influenced by personal interests or positions.
