Malaysia Gifts Fair 2026 opens biggest-ever edition, earns Asia Records recognition

Malaysia Gifts Fair 2026 opens with 400+ booths and 50,000 products, highlighting sustainable gifting and Asia Records recognition.

THE 16th Malaysia Gifts Fair officially opened today at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, marking its biggest edition to date with an expanded exhibition space, record-breaking participation and a renewed focus on sustainable gifting.

Organised by the Malaysian Gifts & Premium Association (MGPA) and endorsed by the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC), this year’s fair carries the theme “Redefining Sustainable Gifting for a Better Tomorrow”, reflecting the industry’s growing commitment towards environmentally responsible and innovation-driven business practices.

For the first time, the fair occupies four exhibition halls; Hall 1 to Hall 4 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, running from June 30 to July 2 from 10am to 6pm daily.

The expanded edition is expected to attract more than 16,000 trade professionals over three days, including corporate buyers, procurement teams, gift agents and industry leaders from across the region.

Visitors can explore more than 400 booths featuring over 50,000 products across 10 major categories, ranging from sustainable gifts and customised apparel to innovative gadgets, bags, trophies, printing machinery and packaging solutions.

This year’s fair also welcomes exhibitors from the handicraft industry alongside international participants from Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, Bangladesh, France and Uzbekistan, further strengthening the gifting industry’s supply chain while offering a more diverse showcase.

Adding to the milestone, Malaysia Gifts Fair 2026 has also been awarded the Asia Records certification as The Largest Gifts & Premium Fair in Asia, recognising its scale, industry influence and position as one of the region’s leading trade events.

MGPA President Ivan Loo said the gifting industry must continue evolving to meet changing global business expectations.

“The global business landscape is shifting. ESG compliance is no longer a corporate aspiration, it is a global standard.

“Technology and AI are reshaping how business is done. And across industries, decision-makers are under growing pressure to source smarter, faster, and with greater accountability,” he said.

“Malaysia Gifts Fair 2026, themed ‘Redefining Sustainable Gifting for a Better Tomorrow,’ reflects exactly where the industry must go.

“It is our commitment as an association and as an industry to align gifting with purpose, to embrace innovation with responsibility, and to ensure that Malaysia remains at the forefront of the regional gifting trade,” he added.

Meanwhile, Organising Chairman Alex Chai said this year’s expansion demonstrates the steady growth of both the fair and Malaysia’s gifting industry.

“This year, we are proud to present the largest edition of Malaysia Gifts Fair to date.

“The expansion to four full exhibition halls is a milestone that reflects the remarkable growth of this platform and the industry’s confidence in what Malaysia Gifts Fair represents; more space, more exhibitors, more connections.”

He also described the Asia Records recognition as a collective achievement shared by everyone involved in the fair’s success.

“Malaysia Gifts Fair was officially recognised by the Asia Book of Records.

“This achievement is not only a recognition of the fair’s scale and industry impact, but also a shared success made possible by every exhibitor, buyer, partner, and supporter who has journeyed with us over the years. We sincerely thank everyone for their continuous support in elevating Malaysia’s gifting industry to greater heights.”

In line with Visit Malaysia Year 2026, the fair is also expected to contribute to Malaysia’s business events sector by attracting international trade professionals while showcasing the country’s strengths in the gifts and premium industry.

Malaysia Gifts Fair 2026 is open to trade professionals from June 30 to July 2 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre from 10am to 6pm daily.

Business visitors may register through the event’s official website.
