Aeon Big now on Foodpanda, bringing same in-store prices, convenience to Malaysians

Foodpanda Malaysia is strengthening its growing grocery offering with the launch of Aeon Big on its platform, making it more convenient for Malaysians to shop from the hypermarket with the ability to choose from more than 16,000 grocery and household products for delivery in under an hour.

Covering 21 Aeon Big outlets nationwide, customers on the Foodpanda app can now shop the same wide selection at the same in-store prices. From fresh fruits and vegetables, meat and seafood to pantry staples, beverages and household essentials, they can complete their grocery shopping wherever they are.

The partnership is in line with Foodpanda’s efforts to make everyday grocery shopping more accessible, expanding its network of trusted retail partners and giving customers greater choice, value and convenience.

“The way Malaysians shop for groceries is evolving, with more people looking for greater flexibility in how and when they shop. Our role is to make that experience as simple and seamless as possible by expanding the range of trusted retailers available on Foodpanda. Together with partners like Aeon Big, we’re helping customers shop with greater confidence and convenience every day,” said Foodpanda Malaysia managing director Kenneth Soh.

Through this partnership with Foodpanda, we’re giving customers another way to shop while continuing to enjoy the affordability, quality and service they expect from us. Customers will also have easier access to our Aeon BiG house brands, such as Big Value and Living Choice. This collaboration also strengthens our omnichannel strategy, allowing us to better serve customers wherever they choose to shop,” said Aeon Big (M) Sdn Bhd managing director Kenji Fujita.

The partnership was marked by a memorandum of understanding signing ceremony between Foodpanda Malaysia and Aeon Big yesterday at Aeon Big Subang Jaya. Members of the media also stepped into the shoes of Foodpanda pickers through a “Grocery Dash” experience, offering a behind-the-scenes look at how grocery orders are picked, packed and prepared for delivery.
