SNS Network lands record RM1.22b AI server contract

PETALING JAYA: SNS Network Technology Bhd has secured a record RM1.22 billion contract to supply high-performance artificial intelligence (AI) servers to a data centre in Malaysia, the largest deal in the ICT solutions provider’s history.

The ICT solutions provider said its wholly owned subsidiary, SNS Network (M) Sdn Bhd, signed the sales agreement on July 26 with a Singapore-incorporated private company principally engaged in publishing game software and applications.

The contract covers the supply, delivery and provision of high-performance AI servers.

Managing director Ko Yun Hung said the award marks a significant milestone for the group and reflects its ability to deliver enterprise-scale AI infrastructure.

“This is the largest contract secured by SNS Network in our history and marks a significant milestone in the group’s growth journey. Beyond its value, the contract reflects our proven capability to deliver enterprise-grade AI infrastructure at scale and demonstrates the confidence that customers place in our technical expertise, execution capabilities and long-standing partnerships with global technology leaders,” he said in a statement.

Ko said rising AI adoption across industries continues to drive demand for high-performance computing infrastructure, positioning the group to capitalise on investments in AI data centres and enterprise AI deployments across the region.

He added that SNS Network remains focused on expanding its AI infrastructure capabilities to support enterprises’ digital transformation initiatives.

The group said the contract is expected to contribute positively to its future earnings and net assets, subject to the timing of deliveries and revenue recognition.

SNS Network provides information and communications technology products, services and solutions, including AI infrastructure, AI server solutions, managed ICT services, device-as-a-service offerings and its JOI Smart Classroom Framework.
