A Malaysian woman sparks backlash after receiving a tiny RM18 noodle portion from a halal Chinese eatery, raising questions over value and consistency.

A Malaysian woman recently called out a halal Chinese restaurant franchise over what she described as an unreasonably small portion of noodles sold at a high price.

Taking to Threads, the woman claimed that the portion she received was noticeably smaller than what she had been served on previous occasions at the eatery.

Images attached to her post showed a small serving of flat rice noodles, which she alleged was priced at RM18.25, ordered from a food delivery platform.

The location of the eatery chain is believed to be located in Puncak Alam.

In the comments, she added that the food delivery platform she ordered through did not issue a refund, prompting her to boycott both the platform and the restaurant.

Netizens questioned how the eatery could justify selling such a small portion at a price higher than average.

The woman also remarked that the amount of gravy provided far exceeded the portion of noodles, likening it to a child-sized serving.

Other users shared similar experiences, with one claiming they had also received a noticeably smaller portion from the same eatery, which they felt did not justify the price.

“How could they fry such a small portion? Don’t they feel bad?” one commenter wrote.

“Is this the leftover balance from other people’s food?” another questioned.

“Is this a diet set?” a third user joked.
