Fahmi Fadzil expressed sadness over the death of 1980s singer and actor Isma Aliff, who passed away at his home in Selangor.
KUALA LUMPUR: Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil expressed sadness over the passing of popular 1980s-era singer and actor Mohd Latiff Ismail, known as Isma Aliff.
“Another entertainer who once enriched the country’s entertainment scene has passed away,” he said in a Facebook post.
Fahmi extended his condolences, adding “May the deceased’s family remain patient and strong in facing this test. Al-Fatihah.”
Media reports confirmed Mohd Latiff, 62, passed away at 8.30 am at his residence in Kampung Melayu Ampang, Selangor.
His sister, Shamsidah, 60, confirmed the news of his passing.
