Brooklyn Peltz Beckham says he will not reconcile with parents

Brooklyn Peltz Beckham accuses parents David and Victoria of trying to ruin his marriage and controlling the family narrative in a social media post.

LONDON: Brooklyn Peltz Beckham has publicly declared he does not want to reconcile with his parents, David and Victoria Beckham.

The 26-year-old made the statement in a lengthy social media post detailing a family rift on Monday.

He accused his parents of controlling press narratives and attempting to “ruin” his relationship with his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham.

“I do not want to reconcile with my family,” he wrote to his 16.2 million Instagram followers.

Brooklyn alleged his parents tried endlessly to sabotage his relationship even before his 2022 wedding.

He claimed his mother, Victoria, cancelled designing Nicola’s wedding dress at the last minute.

He also alleged she “hijacked” his first dance with his new wife at their wedding reception.

Brooklyn said his mother danced “inappropriately on me” in front of hundreds of guests.

He stated he had never felt more “uncomfortable or humiliated” in his life.

The post further claimed his wife has been consistently “disrespected” by his family.

He said Nicola was not invited to his father David’s 50th birthday party.

“My family values public promotion and endorsements above all else,” he added.

“Brand Beckham comes first.”

Brooklyn concluded by saying he grew up with “overwhelming anxiety” but has now found “peace.”

Spokespeople for David and Victoria Beckham did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
