Terengganu FC has paid all outstanding wages to foreign players before FIFA’s transfer ban decision, awaiting official response from football body.
TERENGGANU Football Club Sdn Bhd has settled all outstanding payments to last season’s foreign players before FIFA issued its official decision.
TFCSB stated it acted professionally and complied with international football legal procedures.
The club clarified the FIFA transfer ban imposed last Friday, confirming payments were made before the official decision.
“TFCSB made payments to foreign players from last season even before FIFA issued the official decision,” the statement said.
Such action demonstrated the club’s commitment to resolving matters according to regulations.
TFC became the latest Super League team placed on FIFA’s transfer ban list.
A check of FIFA’s website confirms TFC cannot participate in transfer activities for three windows.
TFCSB has sent official notification to FIFA regarding the completed payments.
The management awaits FIFA’s official response and will comply with all enforced regulations.
“TFCSB is always committed to acting professionally and transparently,” the statement added.
The club will share developments once FIFA’s decision is received.
