MMA legend Khabib Nurmagomedov will visit Johor next month for the groundbreaking of his international training centre.
JOHOR BAHRU: Former Ultimate Fighting Championship lightweight world champion Khabib Nurmagomedov will make a special visit to Johor next month.
Menteri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi said the mixed martial arts legend will attend the groundbreaking ceremony for Khabib Gym Johor.
This international training centre is dedicated to sports development within the state.
He expressed deep appreciation to the Regent of Johor, Tunku Mahkota Ismail, for his vision in elevating the state’s sporting stature globally.
This initiative reflects high-impact global cooperation and Johor’s determination to become a leading sports hub.
Onn Hafiz stated the MMA legend’s presence honours both the sporting world and the people of Johor.
He noted this visit celebrates values of excellence, discipline and relentless fighting spirit.
